Let's talk about "it:" Sex Education for Parents In the Modern Age

If we don't talk about "it," who will? Beyond the birds and the bees, we're talking about sex. Technique and information is key in the "how" to discuss difficult topics with our children and family. Examples including consent, agency, or principles underlying "stranger danger" concerns leading us to prepare our children and family with concrete skills. How do empower our children and give them the vocabulary is key. How we prepare them to interpret warnings so that are not victimized is essential. Difficult subject matter will be discussed, but sometimes we need to talk about the tough topics.
