Haskell Bernat comes to the world of Jewish Education with an early background in Orthodox Yeshivot . He did his Undergraduate Studies at Yeshiva University, Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary and was ordained at HUC-JIR. He earned his Doctorate in Interreligious Studies at St Thomas University. He has taught at HUC, the University of Judaism, the University of California, Riverside, Barry University and lectured at Wellesley College and Boston Hebrew College. He specializes in the Polemics and Apologetics of the Abrahamic Religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam as evidenced in their sacred writings. As a Community Leader, he was Chairman of the Rabbinic Cabinet of UJA , a Vice Chairman of UJA and was Rabbinic Chairman of Operation Moses, the first wave of Ethiopian Jews to Israel.
