Leon Weissberg has been a foremost leader in Holocaust education having taught courses at Lynn University and Broward College in Holocaust & Genocidal studies. He is currently on staff at Broward College teaching American History. Among his accomplishments, he has served as Executive Director of the Jewish Education Commission of our Jewish Federation in Boca Raton, as well as the first Head of School of the Donna Klein Jewish Academy. Weissberg was instrumental in bringing significant adult education to South Florida by introducing the Florence Melton Adult Mini-school to our community. He  is a graduate of the City College of New York and earned three master's degrees, a doctorate and is an ordained rabbi. Weissberg's work with the March of the Living is significant. He served as  the US Southern Region, Palm Beach County, Director as well as Miami-Dade Director. He has led over 2500 teens to Poland & Israel over 32 years. As a child of survivors, Weissberg will be leading adults from Boca Raton on the upcoming March of the Living.
