Dr. Marsha B. Cohen is an independent scholar, educator and writer who lectures and teaches about the role of religion in world affairs, particularly the historical background of contemporary issues and problems. Marsha received her BA in Political Philosophy from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and her doctorate in International Relations from Florida International University. Marsha taught at FIU for over a decade, specializing in the Middle East, and taught an undergraduate course at the University of Miami last spring on "Jerusalem: the Politics of Holiness." She has been teaching for CAJE-Miami's Melton Adult Learning program since 1998, and is also a course instructor for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UM. She writes on foreign policy for Lobelog and is the co-author of "The Gospel of Matthew and Judaic Traditions."
